Developing A Game With Limited Staff

If you haven’t followed Novalogic closely over the past several years you really haven’t missed much. No major releases of any pc or console games expect for a couple of budget titles in which many of the top review sites gutted.
Novalogic’s last big game that was mass marketed and actually got fair reviews was Joint Operations. Previous to this was Delta Force Black Hawk Down. Several years have gone by and the handful of community memebers have been trying their best to see if Novalogic is still alive. Digging through trademarks and searching online gaming portfolios uncovered some early test screen shots and model renderings for the upcoming release of Delta Force Angel Falls.

Angel Falls was supposed to be released back in 2008 but word was released back in October of 2011 that Alpha testing of the game would begin shortly. Novalogic, during it’s high times had a large staff and other offices and headquarters overseas. It seems the last few years with the economy in the doom and poor planning by Novalogic has landed them with just a few staff remaining at their headquarters in California.
Are these 4 guys truly the only in house developers for Novalogic? One person missing is their sound engineer however you would think it’s virtually impossible to build a game engine, design a game, and mass market it within a reasonable amount of time…. on top of this… it has to be good. I realize many companies outsource work but having such few developers in house could make for very stressful and challenging scenario.
